In November of 1988, Carri Brown began her career with our county as a Deputy Auditor with the Auditor’s Office.
Carri prepared its first ever Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and became a Certified Government Financial Manager – a certification she continues to hold. During her tenure, Carri brought technology to the office for financial, real estate, and settlement processes and established a dedication to and culture of customer service. Valuing customer service has been a hallmark of her service to our county in multiple capacities, including her service as Chief Deputy Auditor of Finance, Child Support Director, Interim Job and Family Services Director, and currently as County Administrator.
As the Fairfield County Auditor, no one will work harder or smarter – and no one will be as effective and efficient. Carri Brown has the right skills and demeanor – and proven ability – to bring together all elected officials and leaders within the county’s political subdivisions, including townships, cities, and villages.
